On Sunday the local American pool hosted the Pooch Plunge event before closing for the season. Last year we took Asia to a Virginia pool for the same kind of event and she had a lot of fun. This year was also a success!
We never actually went to the pool this summer so it was our first time in. It's a pretty nice facility with different areas, depths, and equipment; Asia enjoyed it all. We only stayed for an hour but it filled up pretty quickly. It was fun seeing different breeds out and watching everyone play with the dogs.
In the first video Asia jumped over the side of the slide and tried climbing up. She couldn't make it and slid back down.

If there aren't too many distractions (aka large dogs romping around her) Asia will swim and retrieve for a while. We had a handful of kids who came up to ask to throw her toys which was cute. Asia hasn't been swimming since we moved here (she loved swimming at the pet resort I worked at in Virginia) so crashed the rest of the day. Maybe someday we'll find a beach around here that's dog friendly!
